The terms governing access to and use of the InsureToHome platform, services, and associated communications.
These Terms of Service govern the access to and use of the InsureToHome website, platform, and any related services, including quote requests, coverage guidance, and communications delivered through the platform. By accessing InsureToHome or submitting any information through its forms, the individual agrees to these terms in full. If the individual does not agree, they should not use the platform.
InsureToHome is a home insurance guidance platform. The information, coverage outlines, and guidance provided through the platform are intended to assist homeowners in understanding their insurance options. The platform facilitates connections between homeowners and coverage resources but does not itself underwrite, bind, or issue insurance policies. All binding of coverage is handled through licensed insurance carriers and is subject to their terms and underwriting criteria.
Users of the platform are required to provide accurate, complete, and current information when submitting forms, requesting quotes, or creating accounts. Submitting false, misleading, or incomplete information may result in the termination of access to the platform and may affect the validity of any coverage guidance or applications submitted. Users are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of any account credentials created through the platform.
All content published on InsureToHome, including written materials, coverage descriptions, illustrations, and educational resources, is the intellectual property of InsureToHome or its licensors and is protected under applicable intellectual property laws. Reproduction, distribution, or modification of any content without prior written authorization is prohibited.
InsureToHome makes reasonable efforts to ensure the accuracy and completeness of the information presented on the platform. However, coverage descriptions and guidance materials are provided for informational purposes only and should not be construed as legal, financial, or insurance advice specific to any individual's situation. Coverage terms, limits, and eligibility are ultimately determined by the applicable insurance carrier at the time of underwriting.
By providing a phone number and agreeing to the applicable consent checkboxes, users authorize InsureToHome to contact them via SMS for service and marketing communications related to home insurance. Users may withdraw consent at any time by replying STOP to any text message received. Following an opt-out, service communications will cease except where required by law or necessary to fulfill an outstanding request.
InsureToHome and its affiliated parties shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages arising from the use of or inability to use the platform. This includes, without limitation, damages resulting from reliance on any coverage guidance, errors in submitted information, carrier decisions regarding eligibility, or service interruptions. The total liability of InsureToHome for any claim arising in connection with the platform shall not exceed the amounts paid by the user, if any, during the period in which the claim arose.
Any dispute arising out of or relating to these Terms of Service or the use of the InsureToHome platform shall be resolved through binding arbitration conducted on an individual basis. Class action proceedings are expressly waived. Arbitration shall take place in accordance with the rules of a recognized arbitration body, with jurisdiction in the state of New York. Nothing in this clause limits the ability to seek injunctive relief for intellectual property violations.
InsureToHome reserves the right to modify, suspend, or discontinue any part of the platform at any time and without prior notice. Access to certain features may be restricted or removed as services evolve. Changes to these Terms of Service will be reflected in an updated effective date, and continued use of the platform following such changes constitutes acceptance of the revised terms.
